Friday, February 9th - 6-7:30pm Beginner Stamp Carving with Kelsey Schmid

Join @kelseyschmidart as she teaches you how to carve your own stamp! Come prepared with an image of your choice, or use the image provided - it's completely up to you! The class will include:

One 4x6 carving block
One cutting tool (as pictured)
5 greeting cards to print on

And ink pads will be available for printing!
Wine provided as well 🍷🎉

Saturday, February 10th, 1-3pm - Intermediate Needle Felting Class - Cardinal

Learn the art of Needle Felting while making a little winter decoration for your home. Nancy Topolski will instruct and advise you as you take wool roving and turn it into a sweet red cardinal.  Learn how to create the cardinal’s feet using wire and floral tape.

All supplies included. And you can keep 1 felting needle and a piece of foam.

 

Sunday February 11th -1-3 pm - Beginner Stamp Carving Class - Valentine's day themed
Join artist John "JackBear" Ballou as he guides you in hand carving your first rubber stamp!  John has been carving his own rubber stamps for over 15 years and will teach his methods of image selection, transferring the image, carving, and printing!  This class is the Sunday before Valentine's Day. John will have Valentine themed images available to create a themed stamp from, or bring along a simple image that you can trace of something you love.  Paper will be on hand to create a card or postcard for your Valentine. Each student will use and take home a tool kit which includes: two carving gouges, a gouge handle, an "x-acto" style knife, a 4x6 inch block of Speedy Carve carving medium, and a handout of tips and tricks for your future carving success. Beginners and Intermediate levels welcome!

Saturday, February 17th, 5-7pm - Screen Printing Basics

Kitty Box Press presents: Screen Printing Basics! 

A look into screen printing for beginners.

Ian Egling (owner/operator of Kitty Box Press) walks you through the fundamentals of the diverse art of screen printing and how to get started. A step by step guide from start to finish on the silk screening process, from coating a screen, to pulling a squeegee and also how to reuse your supplies. Learn what you’ll need to get started and where to get it, locally! Whether you’d like to begin printing as a hobby or as an entrepreneur, this is a fun place to start! $20 includes all supplies and print-your-own tote bag. Hope to see you!

Sunday,  February 18th, 12-3pm - Beginner Crochet

Feeling the need to cozy up by the fire and learn a new skill?

Come to Little Button Craft to learn how to crochet your own handmade goods! As an accomplished fiber artist, Jacquelyn O'Brien will teach you all the little tricks for making your work in a fun and efficient way! By learning one simple loop you will be able to make scarves, blankets, pot holders and more!

All materials are provided for you, even you very own crochet hook to keep when you leave for the admission price of $30 per person.

Wednesday, February 21st 6-730pm - Chalk Lettering Class

Join Brittany Statt of Bee Paper House for one of her fantastic, typically sold out, classes! In this class, you will learn the basics of chalk lettering. You'll also leave with a marker and small chalkboard so you can continue your letter work at home! 

This class is BYO friendly, bring a bottle of wine or a drink to share with your classmates!
