From the artist, Molly: I learned how to crochet and knit from my Great Grandmother, Grandmother, and Mother when I was about 5 or so. I started out with the basics like granny squares and SUPER wavy scarves but thanks to their patience I was able to fine tune things and do more. To this day I'm still a perfectionist thanks to my Great Grandmother reminding me (as she would be taking out row after row to help fix a mistake) "Anything worth doing is worth doing right."
Boy oh boy if my grandmas could see me now! I doubt they saw satanic goats and zombie bread in my future, but I like to think they'd still be impressed. Probably the best way to describe what I make ranges from cute and cuddly to weird and cuddly. Most know me for my crochet chickens or my goats, but I also make cat scarves that barf rainbows, moldy/zombie food, and cat bees just to name a few.
I'm super stoked to have the opportunity to hang out with my friends at Little Button for the day and can't wait to show everyone what I've been working on.
