A little bit about Diane’s work -

“My collection of work began with using antique buttons.  I hate thinking of these little beauties sitting somewhere, never to been seen or admired.  Sometimes, in those forgotten places are broken watches.  There's an unseen world inside mechanical watches - tiny gears, cogs, screws polished to perfection.  I am pleased to take these antiquated little machines and expose their beauty.  I've continued this theme, coming up with other atypical but beautiful elements.  I continue to experiment with unusual materials and I'm thrilled when my work brings surprised exclamations at what I've used to create my collection.  I was honored to have received the best in my division award at Artists Row at the Public Market last year! “
