Granny Squares - they’re iconic. Are you ready to hop into the square game? We’re here to teach you how to make these easy peasy, meditative, and quick squares that can build up to make nearly anything!

What Class is this?: Granny Square 101 - a beginner level workshop where you will learn to make individual square pieces called “Granny Squares”, you’ll learn about different varieties of granny squares, how to start and finish your own, and how to connect two squares together.

Level of Experience Required: At least a beginner knowledge of crochet, knowledge about how to do a magic loop is a huge bonus!

To attend this class you must have knowledge of how to:

• Tie a slip knot

• Chain Stitch

• Single Crochet/Double Crochet/Triple Crochet

• (Not required but encouraged) Make a magic loop

Cost: $30 - this is a class for adults and kids older than 14

What Should I Bring?: Nothing! You’ll be provided with a crochet hook and yarn to create your own granny square. Have a favorite hook or tool? feel free to bring it! If you need adaptive equipment please let us know via email (shelby@littlebuttoncraft.com) and we’ll do what we can to help!

What to Anticipate: You’ll have a comfy seat or bench to sit on at a shared table. You will also see a large projector screen livestreaming the instructor’s hands as they teach each skill. You will have the opportunity to ask questions as well as ask for a skill to be repeated if need be.

Available seating is on a first come, first served basis.
