October Featured Artist: Danielle Schnauber

Hello! My name is Danielle Schnauber but most people ignore Danielle and stick to Schnauber, Schnauby, Schnaubs, or something along those lines. (I sign my art DSchnauber)

I am this month's featured artist at Little Button! 

Do you enjoy thrift stores? Animals? Weird  made up creatures? Me too! I enjoy combining all of these things to create my art. 

I have been drawing characters from my imagination since I was a small child and never quite knew where to put them. As I got older I developed a love for thrift and garage sale shopping. I would come across so many old paintings that seemed like they needed new life and decided they were the perfect places for my creatures to live. 

I also have a second life working in veterinary medicine, hanging out with my dogs and cat, my person- Bob, and when I'm not injured playing any sport I can (but mostly soccer) I have a slight obsession with watching women's soccer, any other NWSL fans out there? Go Bats.
