Hello friends! My name is Amanda (Mina is my nickname). Rochester, NY is where I call home, but I’ve lived in other places (warmer places*) prior to living here.
Mina Makes Ink turns 5 this year! It has helped me in so many ways, but mainly how I identify as a person, and finding my art style.
It brings me joy to make something for me, but that others can also connect with. I’ve been missing doing in-person shows for this reason.
Illustration is my absolute favorite - it does not matter what medium I use, as long as it involves something shiny and/or has a POP of color.
Points of inspiration include, but not limited to: Personal experiences + World Events for themes; Etsy, Pinterest, Instagram, Travel, Book Stores, and following other makers on social media for styles and trends.
Thank you for those that have watched me grow over the years, and continued to support my shop. I can’t wait to share more about myself and my work with everyone over the next couple of weeks!
